Insurance Limits
We carry full General Liability, Automobile Liability and
Workers Compensation coverage. Policy limits are $1 million per
occurrence, $2 million aggregate, plus $1 million automobile liability.
Licenses and Permits
We are fully licensed and permitted to operate our refinishing
operations. We hold a State of California Contractors License;
State of California Seller's Permit, City of El
Cajon
Business License; County of San Diego Dept. of Environmental
Health Permit; Environmental Protection
Agency I.D.
as well as permits from the
County of San Diego Air Pollution Control District.
These agencies were established to insure that companies
operate in a safe manner and control the release of pollutants into the
environment.
The above licenses and
permits are mandatory for legal operation of a painting and refinishing business
in San Diego County.
You should be aware that all finishing procedures (including those using
water-based products) produce hazardous waste, either in the form of
un-used materials, or the residue from cleaning of tools and equipment. All of
our hazardous waste materials are disposed of properly in accordance with
guidelines established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
We support the efforts of these governing agencies and advise that whomever you
select to do your finishing work present these necessary licenses and permits to
you before beginning work. Finishing companies operating without the above
licenses and permits are not disposing their hazardous waste materials properly.
Typically they will dispose of the waste by either dumping in into the ground
cover or down the drains on your property. This practice exposes you to health
dangers and well as subjecting you to heavy fines, extremely expensive clean-up
costs and the liability of subjecting others present on your property to
exposure. It is in your
best interest to make sure you are working with a qualified and properly
licensed contractor.
