The Electrostatic Painting process is perfect for on-site painting of metal items such as those listed above.  Due to the unique application process, adjacent surfaces are safe from overspray.  Because the paint is magnetically drawn to the surface to be painted, items such as railings can be painted from one side, and the paint will wrap around to the other side.    

"How does it work?"

We use a specially formulated Polyurethane Enamel paint that is mixed with a catalyst and given a positive charge by a transformer.  The metal object to be painted is then grounded by attaching a wire from the spray unit.  The paint is then drawn magnetically to the item being painted with a 98% transfer efficiency.  This system allows us to paint metal items in finished office spaces without fear of paint overspray on adjacent surfaces.  Due to the extremely strong odors produced during the painting process, indoor work must be produced after business hours or on weekends when no other personnel are present.  For multiple tenant buildings, it is necessary to gain permission from the Property Manager to insure adjacent tenants will not be present during the painting process.  If on-site painting is not logistically possible, we can pick up your furniture items and paint them at our facility.

On site electrostatic painting of file cabinets. Notice the adjacent areas do not require covering because the paint is magnetically drawn to the object being painted and nowhere else! Our finisher is shown applying the first light coat of paint, which will be followed by a heavier final coat. We use a catalyzed polyurethane enamel paint similar to what is used for automotive finishes.	This sculpture was repainted using our electrostatic system. Scaffolding was erected around the unit to give us access to the various surfaces. For exterior electrostatic painting, we use an exterior grade catalyzed polyurethane enamel for a superior weather resistant finish.	This children's water feature was painted with our electrostatic painting system. The pool was drained and scaffolding was erected around the unit to provide access for our painters.	Our finisher is using our electrostatic painting system to apply finish to light fixtures and ducting for a local pharmaceutical company. Notice that ceilings do not need to be protected because there is no overspray.	This is a project that utilized our electrostatic wrap-around technology. Our crew was able to paint both sides of the railings from one side. The paint simply wraps around each rail as it is being applied!
